Regrettably, the bulk of humans have not progressed from G-dly fear to G-dly love without which they cannot matur into either G-dly or human love. They have not matured to this stage as yet and so have not evolved as yet. Some will so evolve, assuredly. Most will not so evolvefor one reason or anothwer. It does not matter if we chose to evolve to G-dly love, the only love that endures in this very shaky world of human feelings.Edward Yablonskyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10013345997672210570noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2076932166540355726.post-17810403529864590722009-03-09T22:37:00.000-04:002009-03-09T22:37:00.000-04:00It comes from ancient eastern teachings. Fear creates anger, hatred, worry, anxiety, guilt, etc. and Love creates happiness, peacefullness, compassion, empathy etc. There is a whole philosphy about how the the opposite of love is not hate but fear and fear begets hate. I'll likely go into further detail on that in another post now that you've asked!

Thanks Audrey!
BreezeCarolyn R. The concept of love and fear being the only two emotions is interesting. I am a huge believer that "love conquers all," and as you so poignantly stated, the love that arose from the 9/11 tragedy was something to behold.
xoxoxoAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2076932166540355726.post-91180660226148725132009-03-09T21:14:00.000-04:002009-03-09T21:14:00.000-04:00wow! I went through a fearful situation recently! there was alot of fear! and a deep loss of love on my part, due to fear !I believed they (love and fear) could not co-exist! and in some situations they should not! BUT what you shared reminded me that I shoulod not adopt that as a principle! That love can overcome fear! Fear can drive love! the two can exist together and create something good out of something bad...Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17680221201312100448noreply@blogger.com
